Insulation systems
Insulation designed for refrigerated vehicle performance
Insulation is one of the most critical components of a refrigerated vehicle. It directly affects temperature stability, refrigeration efficiency, and long-term reliability. TMC designs and installs insulation and thermal systems specifically for refrigerated cargo vans and refrigerated cube vans, supporting dependable cold-chain performance in real-world operating conditions.

Why insulation matters in refrigerated vehicles
Refrigeration systems can only perform as well as the insulation that supports them. Poor insulation increases system load and reduces long-term reliability.
Why it matters:
-
Maintains consistent internal temperatures across delivery cycles
-
Reduces refrigeration system cycling and energy demand
-
Minimizes temperature fluctuations during frequent door openings
-
Reduces wear on refrigeration components over time
-
Supports reliable cold-chain performance in daily fleet operation

Door, wall, and floor systems
Refrigerated vehicle insulation must withstand daily use while maintaining thermal integrity. TMC installs insulated floor, wall, and door systems designed to handle frequent loading, unloading, and cleaning without compromising performance.
These systems support durability, hygiene, and long-term reliability in demanding fleet environments.

Spray foam & Polyurea applications
In addition to our panelized insulation systems, TMC also utilizes spray foam and polyurea applications as part of select custom-built cargo box and vehicle insulation projects. These methods allow insulation to be applied seamlessly to complex geometries, joints, and high-wear areas, helping improve thermal continuity, durability, and moisture resistance where traditional panels may not be suitable. This process is used selectively based on vehicle requirements and project scope.

INTEGRATED THERMAL SYSTEM DESIGN
TMC designs insulation systems to work in coordination with refrigeration installation and vehicle layout. Floors, walls, and doors are insulated as a unified system, helping prevent thermal bridging and heat gain throughout the cargo area.
By handling insulation and refrigeration together, thermal performance is improved and compatibility issues are eliminated.

Efficiency, durability, and usable cargo space
Well-designed insulation improves refrigeration efficiency while preserving usable cargo space. TMC balances insulation thickness, material selection, and installation methods to support thermal performance without unnecessarily reducing payload capacity.
The result is a refrigerated vehicle that operates efficiently while maintaining practical cargo volume.
